In complement to one of the best tartar sauce recipes, I pair it with one of Canada’s greatest folk singers!

Ingredients:

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1 clove garlic, minced

1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice

Lemon rind from one lemon (optional)

1 Tbsp capers (optional)

1 tsp Dijon mustard

Salt/pepper

1 dash hot pepper (to taste)

Mix all ingredients and serve with fish cakes.
