Asian BBQ’d Baby Bok Choy

Time: 1 hour marinating; 15 min prep and grilling

This recipe is truly amazing, healthy and super easy. The flavours are like a “storm” for your taste buds, sweet, spicy, hot and then the crunch of the bok choy… Yum. We had these for Mother’s Day, served alongside some Smoked Pork Belly… Delicious.

Music Selection: Amadeus Electric Quartet – Storm

Ingredients:

1 lb baby bok choy

½ cup Thai sweet chili sauce

2 Tbsp rice vinegar

1 Tbsp brown sugar

1 Tbsp sesame oil

1 Tbsp soy sauce

Directions:

Wash the bok choy well. Cut each lengthwise. Put in large bowl.

In separate bowl, mix chili sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar, sesame oil and soy sauce. Pour over the bok choy. Mix well and let marinade for an hour.

Heat BBQ to 350 deg F. Place bok choy on grill and grill 2 mins per side, brushing with remaining sauce from bowl.

Serve with steak or smoked pork belly!
