Creamy Lemon Pasta

Time: 30 minutes

This pasta is amore… so easy, so delicious, so very creamy and cheesy.

8 oz angel hair or spaghettini pasta

1 lemon, zest and juice

2/3 cup heavy cream

4 Tbsp butter

3 oz parmesan cheese

1 clove garlic, minced

½ tsp dried chili flakes


Fresh herbs – basil and thyme


In large pot of salted water, boil the pasta according to the package.

While the pasta boils, in a small sauce pan, melt the butter in the cream. Add the lemon zest, garlic and chili  peppers. Heat on low, mixing constantly. After the pasta has boiled about 10 minutes, add ¼ cup of the pasta water to the cream. Keep mixing. Add in ½ of the parmesan. Keep mixing to thicken the sauce.

Once the pasta is cooked, drain and quickly add the rest of the cheese and lemon juice. Pour the sauce over it and start mixing the pasta so the cheese melts and thickens the sauce. Salt/pepper to taste. Add the fresh herbs and extra parmesan.
