Music Selection: Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros – Home
My middle kiddo, loves peanut butter, chocolate and bananas all together… always has. I made these today as a change to our typical chocolate banana peanut butter chip cookies and which are his ultimate favorite. These are also very chewy and delicious. I asked him to pick the music for this recipe duo and he picked “Home” as the cookies, he felt will remind him of Home when he moves out (possibly in Fall if this pandemic is over) to go to University… Right now, we are all “home” all of the time. From our home to your home… enjoy!

Ingredients:
¾ cup peanut butter
2 mashed ripe bananas
1 cup brown sugar
½ cup cold butter, cut in cubes
2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
2 eggs
¼ tsp salt
Optional: dash cloves
Optional: 1/3 cup chocolate chips, melted to drizzle on top
Directions:
Preheat oven to 300 deg F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
Using beaters/mix master, beat the eggs, cold butter and brown sugar. Add the peanut butter and bananas. Mix until well mixed.
Slowly add in flour, salt and baking powder. When mixed, use an ice cream scoop and drop cookies quite far a part on sheet (6 per cookie sheet). Bake for 20 minutes.
Let cool and then drizzle with melted chocolate chips. Enjoy with a huge glass of milk!
