Whisky Apple BBQ Salmon

Time: 25 minutes

Some days we just need to chill, but we have too much energy. Here is some classic, yet invigorating music to accompany a classic but delicious dinner! Enjoy.

Music Selection: Kashmir Led Zeppelin – Epic Symphonic Rock


½ cup apple juice

1/8 cup maple syrup

1/8 cup whisky (Jack Daniels)

2 lb salmon fillets



Mix the apple juice, maple syrup and whisky.

Preheat charcoal grill.  Oil both sides of the salmon (we cut ours into smaller piece so we can flip it without it breaking – you can also use a cedar plank).

Place salmon in BBQ and brush with the sauce. Close cover and cook 5 minutes. Brush salmon again. Cover and cook salmon another 5 minutes. Flip and brush salmon again. Cover and cook salmon about another 5 minutes. The salmon should be close to done, check. Serve with broccoli cheese casserole and Chilean rice.
