Cheeseburger Pasta Shells

Cheeseburger Pasta Shells

Time: 45 minutes

This is such a great and simple recipe! I like it as a main dish, but also as an appetizer. These are tasty and filling, too! The blend of flavours are perfect harmony. Once you have these, you will have that wonderful blissful feeling and maybe you will sing along with the New Seekers and teach the world to sing in perfect harmony.

Ingredients:

24 large pasta shells (2 inch)

1 ½ lbs ground beef

Salt/papper

½ cup ketchup

¼ cup mustard

¼ cup relish

1 onion, finely diced

1 ½ cups grated cheddar cheese

Directions:

In large pot, boil some salted water. Cook pasta according to instructions (about 15 minutes). Drain and rinse under cool water.

While pasta is boiling, in large frying pan, fry the ground beef and onions until well cooked.

Add the ketchup, mustard and relish, mix well. Remove from heat.

Preheat oven to 375 deg.

Spray a cookie sheet or baking pan with oil. Fill each shell with the meat mixture and place on sheet. Sprinkle each with cheese.

Place in oven and heat until cheese melts – about 5 minutes. If you want to make these in advance, then add about ¼ cup of water to pan with shells and heat up for about 20 minutes.
