Music Selection: Joanna Newsom – Peach Plum Pear
3 -4 ripe peaches or nectarines
3 – 4 ripe plums
(optional – add 1/2 a diced, peeled pear or some chopped up dried cherries)
4 Tbsp sugar
3 Tbsp white balsamic vinegar
¼ – ½ tsp garam masala (to taste)
Peel and remove pit from peaches. Remove pits from plums, but leave skins on. Cut into small diced pieces. Put in a bowl.
Mix in the sugar, balsamic vinegar and garam masala. Mix well. Cover and put in fridge until ready to eat.
This is delicious on BBQ pork, BBQ chicken, coconut rice, or plain vanilla ice cream!
