Broccoli Cauliflower Bake

Time: 1 hour

Not to brag, but this might be one of the easiest and delicious side dishes that you can make. It is great for sharing and it re-heats well. The dill is a must add, so don’t skip the dill. You will find yourself adding this to your favourite recipes list.

Music Selection: Whitesnake – Here I Go Again

Ingredients:

1 head broccoli, cut into florets

1 head cauliflower, cut into florets

2 cups sour cream

3 cups grated cheddar cheese

2 Tbsp dried dill

1 green onion, finely sliced

Optional: bacon bits

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 deg F.

In large casserole dish, mix up florets of cauliflower and broccoli.

Sprinkle the dill evenly over the vegetables.

In large bowl, mix the sour cream with half of the grated cheese. Mix well and then spread over the vegetables. Top with the remaining cheese.

Cover the vegetables with lid or foil. Bake in oven for 45 min – 60 min, depending on how you like your vegetables.

Sprinkle green onion and/or bacon bits on top. Enjoy.
