Time: 20 minutes
I have made this recipe easily a dozen times as it is so easy and so very tasty. It comes from a skillet recipe book that I have, but it is such a sophisticated appetizer, I paired it with the theme from the Godfather. Truly for the suave and debonair…
Music Selection: Andre Rieu – Godfather Theme

Ingredients:
1 ½ pounds shrimp, cooked, and peeled (tails off)
3 Tbsp butter
½ cup bourbon
2 Tbsp tomato paste
1 cup heavy cream
2 Tbsp fresh chopped dill
Salt/pepper
Dill for garnish
1 baguette, cut into ½ inch slices on diagonal
Directions:
In large pan, melt butter. Add bourbon and tomato paste, mix well. Add in cream and dill and heat on low to medium heat. Let thicken. Salt/pepper to taste.
Add in shrimp and heat up until they are hot, but not over cooked.
Serve with spoons so you can put shrimp and a bit of extra sauce on each slice of bread. Have lots of bread handy to sop up the creamy sauce even after all the shrimp are gone!
