This is a hearty recipe that you will fall in love again and again with. Simple, fast and not many dishes to clean afterwards (added bonus)….
Music Selection: Anne Murray – I Just Fall In Love Again

Ingredients:
5-6 potatoes
Butter
1 cup sour cream
1 package of 5 – 6 sausages, like bangers or bratwurst
2 Tbsp grainy mustard
2 onions
12 oz dark beer
1 cup beef stock
1 – 2 Tbsp cornstarch
Olive oil
Directions:
In a large pot, fill it with water and boil potatoes. Follow the mashed potato recipe.
Slice onions finely.

In large (9 – 10 inch), deep (1 – 2 inches) pan, heat up oil and saute onion. Add ¼ cup of the beer and let fry until moisture gone.

As the onions, get soft, push them to the sides and fry the sausages in the middle, turning them as they get brown.

When the onions and sausages are cooked, add in the beer and let it fry down to ½.
In a small bowl, pour the beef stock and add 1 – 2 Tbsp of cornstarch.
Remove the sausage and onions from the pan. Keep the pan on medium heat, add in the remaining beer and the beef broth/cornstarch. Whisk until it thickens. Add in the grainy mustard and salt/pepper to taste. When it thickens, add in the sausage and onions. Let simmer.

Finish off the mashed potatoes.
To serve, put some mashed potatoes in a pasta bowl. Top with a sausage and some onions and gravy.
Serve with Goat Cheese Mushy Peas or Buttered and Dilled Snap Peas & Carrots.

Looks yummy
